Inno3D has unveiled its newest Geforce GTX 1080 series graphics card, which will have a custom PCB design, high facotry-overclock and come with hybrid liquid+air cooling solution, the Inno3D Geforce GTX 1080 iChill Black Edition.
Positioned at the top of Inno3D's GTX 1080 lineup, next to the GTX 1080 iChill X3 and iChill X4 Edition graphics cards, the new GTX 1080 iChill Black Edition will be based on a fully-custom PCB design, powered by a 6+8-pin PCIe power connectors, and works at 1759MHz GPU base and 1898MHz GPU Boost clocks, significantly higher than reference 1607/1733MHz.
The Inno3D GTX 1080 iChill Black Edition still packs 8GB of GDDR5X memory clocked at 10400MHz and comes with a 256-bit memory interface, adding up to 322.8GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The biggest update is the new hybrid air+liquid cooling system from Artic, the Arctic Accelero Hybrid S, which uses AiO liquid cooler to cool down the GPU and a single 80mm fan to keep the VRM and memory cooled. It also comes with a custom full-cover backplate.
The iChill logo at the top of the card glows in 3 different colors, blue, green and red, depending on the load.
Unfortunately, Inno3D did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date so we hope to see it in retail/e-tail soon.
