EKWB unveils new EVGA GTX 1080 water blocks

For EVGA GTX 1080 FTW series graphics cards

EK Water Blocks has unveiled its new full-cover blocks meant to be used with EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW series graphics cards, the EK-FC1080 GTX FTW.

Based on a well known full-cover design and coming in Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions, the new EK-FC1080 GTX FTW water block cools the GPU, RAM and the VRM part of the graphics card and looks good doing it. It also features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design which allows it to be used both with reversed water flow and systems with weaker water pumps.

The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of acrylic material or POM Acetal material, depending on the version. The acrylic version also comes with two pre-drilled 3mm LED slots.

EK Water Blocks will also offer an optional EK-FC 1080 GTX FTW backplate that will be available in Nickel and plain Black versions.

Both the EK-FC1080 GTX FTW water blocks and backplates should be available as of September 15th with a price set at €122.95 for both the Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions while the backplates will cost €29.95 for the standard Black version and €37.95 for the Nickel version.
