Razer has unveiled its newest gaming keyboard which will be using the all new Razer Mecha Membrane switches which combine the best features of both membrane and mechanical switches, the Razer Ornata.

Designed in order to offer the soft and comfortable feeling of rubber dome (membrane) keyboard and fast actuation and tactile feedback of the mechanical keyboard, the new Razer Mecha-Membrane switches, which are the main feature of new Razer Ornata gaming keyboard lineup, should bring best of both worlds.

The new Razer Ornata will be available in a few versions, including Ornata standard versions which will have a green backlight as well as the Chroma version with RGB backlight and plenty of profiles for popular games.

The Razer Ornata uses standard design with 10-key roll over, has anti-ghosting capability, mid-height keycaps that should offer faster actuation and comes with specially designed ergonomic wrist rest.

The Razer Ornata and Razer Ornata Chroma are both available for pre-order directly from Razer shipping on September 23rd, with a price tag set at US $79.99 and US $99.00, respectively.
