Initially NVIDIA's Volta GPU was scheduled for 2018 but it could be that this chip might be introduced in early May 2017 during GTC. At least some newly surfaced rumors in combination with a quote from NVIDIA CEO Jen Hsun Huang could suggest that.

One thing is that CEO of NVIDIA, Jen Hsun Huang, mentioned that every GTC (GPU Technology Conference) should see a new GPU. Since Volta is officially still scheduled for 2018 a new GPU launch in 2017 would not be possible.

Apart from this a rumor on Fudzilla surface, where they're claiming that NVIDIA's upcoming Volta cards could be based on the 16nm FinFET manufacturing process, while all earlier reports mentioned that Volta will be based on the 10nm node from TSMC.

If NVIDIA is really going to make Volta a 16nm GPU then it's likely that GTC 2017 could see another new NVIDIA GPU. At the same time Volta could be combined with stackable DRAM, sitting very close to the GPU itself increasing memory bandwidth drastically.
