It appears that the Radeon RX 470 is just around the corner, since VideoCardz.com posted a few pictures of this very card. This particular model looks similar to AMDs latest reference design with a nice little change.
Looking at the front of this card, Sapphire is providing this card with a silver sticker on the cooler shroud as well as on the fan. Apart from that the Radeon writing is also kept in silver. Turning the card around there is a back-plate covering the entire length of the PCB.
Since the cooler has been removed from this card, there is also a view at the power design. Compared to its bigger brother, the RX 480, the RX 470 comes with two phases less. Apart from that there is 4GB of GDDR5 Memory running at 7.0 GHz effective clock speed. In general the RX 470 features 2048 Stream processors, 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs and a 256 bit memory interface. There is one 6-pin power connector and the TDP is rated at 150W.
When it comes to pricing rumors are suggesting that this card could hit the shelves at 179 US-Dollar.
