Although it was teased earlier, the EK Water Blocks RX 480 water block has now been officially launched and in case you want to liquid cool your mid-range RX 480 graphics card or two, it will set you back for €99,95 a piece, depending on the version.
Based on the same full-cover water block design as all EKWB water blocks, the new EK-FC RX-480 water block cools the GPU, memory as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. The base of the block is made of copper, bare or nickle-plated, while the top is made of either acrylic or Acetal material, depending on the version.
It also features EKWB's unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design with central inlet orientation which is the same as the GPU core. Such design provides best possible cooling performance and make it compatible with both reversed water flow and systems with weaker pumps.
Furthermore, the new EK-FC RX-480 water block also turns the RX 480 into a single-slot graphics card.
As noted, there will be four different versions of the EK-FC RX-480 water block including standard, with bare-copper, Acetal, Nickel, and Acetal+Nickel.
The standard and Acetal versions are priced at €99.95 while the Nickel and Acetal+Nickel are priced at €107.95. EKWB will also offer a EK-FC RX-480 Backplate in Black and Nickel versions, priced at €29.95 and €37.95, respectively.
