Splave releases new memory overclocking guide

Focuses on memory frequency with HyperX Fury Black

Allen "Splave" Golibersuch, a well known overclocker, has released a neat memory overclocking guide with focus on memory frequency with Kingston's HyperX Fury Black memory.

The new memory overclocking guide focuses on frequency rather than other aspects of memory overclocking and while some might think that frequency has become rather useless in memory overclocking, it has once again become important with the introduction of Intel Skylake platform.

Although tight latency still matters the most as it is much harder to get those tuned right, the higher frequency is still important.

Splave's guide is based on Kingston's HyperX Fury Black 2666MHz AFR modules which are overclocked on ASRock Z170M OC Formula motherboard with Intel Core i7 6700K Skylake CPU. He also uses Tsai LN2 Memory Pot and 8ecc Beast CPU LN2 pot.

While the guide is focused on getting the highest possible frequency, Splave also explains all the necessary parts of memory overclocking like voltage and latencies.
