EK Water Blocks has released its latest full-cover water block designed to be used specifically on the Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics cards, the EK-FC 980 GTX Ti XG.
Based on a full-cover design, the new EK-FC 980 GTX Ti XG covers the entire PCB and directly cools the GPU, memory as well as the VRM part of the graphics card.
Thanks to the unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design, the block offers best possible cooling performance and also works with both reversed water flow systems and systems with weaker water pumps.
According to EKWB, the base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of POM Acetal or acrylic, depending on the version. It also comes with pre-installed screw-in brass standoffs.
The new EK-FC 980 GTX Ti XG water block is available in Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions, both priced at €119.95 and EKWB also offers an optional black backplate, priced at €29.95.
