It appears that Blizzard is gearing up to work on a new game in the Diablo universe, at least according to recent job listings.
According to a couple of new job listings at Blizzard, which include a senior concept artist, a lightning artist and a senior character artist for a "yet to be announced project," it appears that Blizzard is preparing to work on a new Diablo game.
The job description, which says that they are "looking for artists that are self-starting, versatile, and enjoy being part of a collaborative environment," as well as "love dark medieval world's and feels there are countless stories left to tell in the Diablo universe," pretty much confirms that these new job openings are aimed at a new Diablo game.
While it might be also a new Diablo III expansion, with a lot of recent free content updates and the Reaper of Souls expansion already available, it is more likely that this will be a sequel and a completely new Diablo game, rather than just an expansion.
Blizzard is not on the list for E3 2016 but it might unveil more details at Blizzcon 2016 in November.
