To feature 4K/UHD textures and unlocked frame rate
Ghost Games has finally revealed a release date for the PC version of the Need for Speed game which should be coming on March 17th and feature both 4K/UHD textures as well as unlocked frame rate.
According to the developer, the major reason behind the earlier delay for the PC version of Need for Speed was the locked frame rate, which has been fixed and should fully unlocked for PC gamers. The PC version of the game will also feature plenty of graphics settings to adjust, as expected on the PC but also feature 4K/UHD textures for those running on Ultra HD monitors.
When the game finally launches on the PC, it will get an important update as well on all platforms, brining manual transmission option, something that driving fans are certainly looking forward to.
The developer also noted that the game will have full support for racing wheels from Logitech, Thurstmaster and Fanatec and has also released a couple of new screenshots and the new PC Reveal trailer for the game.
Those with EA's Origin Access will have a chance to try out the game on March 10th while the game will be officially out on March 17th.
