ASUS unveils new MX27UQ 4K/UHD monitor

Part of ASUS Designo MX series

ASUS has unveiled a new 27-inch 4K/UHD monitor that will be a part of its Designo MX series, the ASUS MX27UQ.



Featuring the same brushed metal look with slim bezels as previous Designo MX series monitors, the new ASUS MX27UQ is based on a 27-inch AH-IPS panel with 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz, 300cd/m2 of maximum brightness, ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR) of 100,000,000:1, response time of 5ms, 178/178 degree viewing angles and support for both AMD FreeSync and 10-bit color (8-bit + FCR) with 100% sRGB color coverage.

It also comes with a couple of USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 ports and a 3.5mm audio jack as well as 3W Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers with Bluetooth support.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
