Cancelled Half Life 2: Episode 4 screenshots spotted

Looks impressive

Although Half Life 2: Episode Three was never released and has pretty much became vaporware, Valve was also planning Half Life 2: Episode Four and today we have some new screenshots from this cancelled game.

Back in 2012, Valve has revealed that it has been working on project called Return to Ravenholm in cooperation with Arkane Studios, which was eventually meant to become Half Life 2: Episode Four and be a standalone game set between the Half Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two. The game was cancelled due to creative constraints in making the game standalone but also fit it between those two games.

Thankfully, Arcane's Senior Environment Artist, Robert Wilinski saved some screenshots from the game so we have a chance to check out what it would have looked like.

You can check out some screenshots here while the rest is available at ValveTime.
