AMD will invest heavily to win the graphics battle

In addition to high hopes for Zen processors

In the recent interview, AMD' EMEA Components Sales Manager Neil Spicer said that the company is investing heavily to win the graphics battle and that the company will be profitable next year.

In an interview with CNR, Neil Spicer, AMD EMEA Components Sales Manager, said that future of the company is looking bright and while the company has high hopes for its upcoming Zen processor lineup, the same goes for the graphics division as well.

Spicer noted that from his personal stance, he is confident that the company can be profitable. He added that the company is working with exactly the right customers, as over the last few years, AMD has become much simpler to execute and do business with.

Spicer noted that he believes the key to AMD's success in 2016 will be investing heavily in key markets and that the company will win the graphics battle with gaming as well as try to benefit as much as possible from the Windows 10 upgrade cycle, promising that the company will be able to bring better or more performance at the same price point, compared to competitors.

AMD has not been doing well for quite some time and some suggest that the upcoming Zen processors are its last stand. Although everything looks good on paper, AMD will hopefully execute its roadmap as planned.
