With the new Doom Closed Alpha launching today, id Software and Bethesda have unveiled both the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game.
In case you missed it, Doom Closed Alpha will be available during the weekend, or precisely, start on Friday, October 23rd at 12:01 ET and run until Sunday, October 25th at 11:59 ET. Those lucky enough to attend it will be able to try out 6vs6 Team Deathmatch on the Heatwave map, have six available weapons and two pieces equipment.
Previously Bethesda released a multiplayer gameplay video from the closed alpha so you can get a clear idea what to expect.

The minimum hardware that will let you play the game at 720p resolution include at least Intel Core i5 running at 3.3GHz or better and AMD FX-8350 running at 4.0GHz or better, as far as CPU is concerned. You wil also need at least 8GB of RAM, Geforce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB graphics card, 6GB of HDD space and 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8.1
The recommended specifications, which will get you playable frame-rate at 1080p resolution include at least Core i7 clocked at 3.4GHZ or better or the same AMD FX-8350 CPU, 8GB of RAM, same 6GB of HDD space, same 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 OS but also at least Geforce GTX 780 3GB or R9 280 3GB graphics card.
