While the bigger Huawei-made Nexus 6P has been available from day one, LG has now announced that the smaller 5.2-inch Nexus 5X will be available in select regions as of today.
According to LG, the new Nexus 5X will be available on the Google Store, major carriers and retailers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Korea and Japan.
As you know, LG-made Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD 1920x1080 resolution (424ppi) screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC, 2GB of RAM and packs a 12.3-megapixe rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. It also comes with USB Type-C port as well as a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The price of the LG-made Nexus 5X vary by region, and
according to GSMArena.com, in the US, it will sell for US $380 for the 16GB model and US $430 for the 32GB model, with optional US $70 for Nexus Protect 2-year coverage.
Europe again drew a shorter straw as in the UK, the Nexus 5X will cost £340/£380 while in Ireland it will sell for a rather high €480 and €530, respectively. In India it should sell for 32,000/36,000 INR, in Japan for 59,300/63,400 JPY and Korea will get it for 509,000/569,000 KRW.
LG also announced that the Nexus 5X will be coming to more European and Latin American countries in the next few weeks.
