AMD has solved R9 Fury supply issues

Retailers getting stock

It was quite obvious that AMD was dealing with supply issue with its Fiji-based graphics cards, including the Radeon R9 Fury, R9 Fury X and the recently launched R9 Nano but it appears that these issues have been solved.

According to AMD's President and CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, while there have been some supply constraints in the third quarter, these were and are largely solved in the four quarter so there should not be any supply constraints.

This is definitely a good news for AMD as it certainly needs to make a good quarter and supply issues during the holiday shopping season would definitely hurt their Q4 financial report.

Some retailers/e-tailers, that managed to get some Fury graphics cards on stock, had a chance to increase the price by US $200 to $250, raising the price well above the suggested US $649 price tag.

Currently, there are plenty of both Radeon R9 Fury and R9 Fury X graphics cards at Newegg.com, with R9 Fury starting at US $549.99, R9 Fury X starting at US $629.99 and there are even some R9 Nano graphics cards available for as low as US $619.99
