Lian Li has announced its newest TU series PC case, the TU-300, which features a full ATX-size as well as recognizable rugged and portable design.
Being the largest in the TU series, the Lian Li PC-TU300 features a full ATX motherboard support in a portable PC case. While smaller case systems are great for LAN parties, Lian Li suggest that a full ATX with room for multiple GPUs is always better.
Weighing in at 3.8kg and with dimensions set at 218x398x440mm, the PC-TU300 is still light and compact enough to be considered as a portable case. It also comes with top-mounted handle and aluminum bumpers on the corners that should protect it during transport. In addition, Lian Li also has an optional TC-01 Trolly Cart, that can be screwed into the side wall and give the PC-TU300 wheels and further improve the portability.
Although the PC-TU300 mainly focuses on portability, the cooling did not suffer as it offers two filtered 120mm intake fans at the bottom panel, two removable filtered 120mm fans at the top and one 120mm fan at the rear. It also comes with a single 5.25-inch slim external drive bay, support for up to two 3.5-inch drives and one 2.5-inch drive in a removable HDD cage and additional two 2.5-inch drives at the bottom, when bottom fans are not used.
It also support up to 300mm long graphics cards, up to 160mm tall CPU cooler and up to 160mm long PSUs.
The PC-TU300 will be available in silver and black color options in early October with a price set at US $229.99.
