But no server browser
According to the latest interview, Star Wars: Battlefront will have dedicated servers but not server browser.
In an interview with Playstation Lifestyle, Star Wars: Battlefront Lead Heroes Designer Jamie Keen, confirmed that the game will indeed use dedicated servers, but will not have a server browser.
While it is still not clear on how will that skill-based matchmaking work, dedicated servers are at least good news for future players. In any case, we will know a bit more about that matchmaking when the game goes into beta in October.
In case you missed it earlier, Star Wars: Battlefront will launch on November 17th in the US and November 20th in Europe and be available for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
