EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia, has released its newest full-cover water block aimed to be used with Gigabyte's custom G1 Gaming GTX 980 Ti Windforce 3X graphics card, the EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 water block.
Based on a full-cover design, the new EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 water block cools the GPU, memory as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. It covers the entire PCB and also comes with a retention backplate.
Based on EKWB's unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design, the new EKWB EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 water block support reversed water flow systems and can be paired up with weaker water pumps.
The based of the EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper with POM Acetal or acrylic top, depending on the version. It also features pre-installed screw-in brass standoffs.
As it was the case with previous blocks from EKWB, the EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 will also be available in two versions, Nickel one priced at €114.95 and Acetal+Nickel, priced at €114.95. EKWB will also offer an optional backplate in Black and Nickel versions, priced at €29.95 and €37.95, respectively.
