ASUS has rather silently announced two new mini-ITX motherboards based on Intel's Braswell SoC, the N3150I-C and the N3050I-C.
Spotted by Fanlesstech.com, both new motherboards are based on Intel Celeron Braswell SoCs and mini-ITX form-factor. As you could have guessed from the model names, the ASUS N3150I-C comes with a quad-core Intel Celeron N3150 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz with 2.08GHz Turbo and 2MB of L2 cache, while the N3050I-C comes with dual-core Celeron N3050 SoC working at 1600MHz base and 2167 Turbo clocks and with 1MB of L2 cache.
Both motherboards have two DDR3L memory slots with support for up to 8GB of DDR3 1600/1066 memory, Intel's Gen 8-LP IGP with 12 Execution Units, single PCI-Express 2.0 x4 slot, mPCIe slot, two SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, 5.1-channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and D-Sub outputs and need 24+4-pin power from the PSU.
While both the N3150I-C and the N3050I-C are listed on ASUS' site, we still do not have any information regarding availability date or the price. The ASUS N3050I-C has been spotted listed in both France and the UK with a price of around €75.
