In addition to plenty of games coming for the Xbox One as well as the rather surprising news that Xbox One will be getting support for Xbox 360 titles, Microsoft has also unveiled the new Xbox Elite Wireless controller at its E3 2015 press conference.
The new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will support both Xbox One and PC on Windows 10 and will be released in October this year. It will feature plenty of new features and improves on both the design as well as the features of a standard Xbox One controller. According to Microsoft, the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will offer "performance-class" experience and was designed in cooperation with pro-level gamers in order to provide "game-changing accuracy, faster speed, and a tailored feel unlike anything before."
As you can see from the pictures below, the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will feature a completely new D-pad which should offer easier and more reliable combo execution, which can be also changed to a standard plus-shaped D-pad. It also comes with three different thumbsticks, standard, tall and domed. It also comes with new paddle controls on the back as well as adjustable trigger buttons.
The new Xbox Elite Wireless controller will also have plenty of other customization options, including an app that will allow you to fine tune trigger minimum and maximum values, thumbstick sensitivity, button assignments and much more as well as allow you to make profiles and save two of them in the controller for easy switch.
