While it might not have a future in Europe, Zotac is definitely looking to launch a rather pointless GTX 960 graphics card in the Greater China region, where mid-range graphics card with triple-fan cooler is a big thing apparently.
The newly teased Zotac GTX 960 graphics card will be a part of its Gamer Force series and uses a large triple-fan cooler and a metal backplate which also features a 60mm fan which should help to cool the back of the VRM part on the PCB, at least as far as we can see from published teasers.
The new Zotac GTX 960 Gamer Force TOP-X, as the company decided to name it, will features a custom PCB with over-the-top VRM part and will support Zotac's OC+ external overclocking module. According to known details, this GTX 960 should be capable of reaching GPU clock of 1,500MHz, which does sound impressive but is rather pointless considering that this is after all a mid-range graphics card based on Nvidia's GM206 GPU with 1024 CUDA cores and 128-bit memory interface.
The new Zotac GTX 960 Gamer Force TOP-X will be available to Greater China region (PRC, HK and probably Taiwan) and we doubt that we will see it in Europe.
