According to sources in the IT retail, Intel might launch the Haswell Refresh CPUs as early as the week of May 10th, rather than Computex 2014, as believed earlier.
Featuring the new flagship Core i7-4790K, including the lineup of the socket LGA1150 based motherboards based on the Intel Z97 Express chipset could be launched sometime around that date. As noted earlier, Intel's Haswell Refresh will offer slightly higher performance than currently available Haswell lineup and will launch at existing price points.
The new 9-series chipset from Intel will bring a couple of new features as well, including the M.2 SSD support which should be quite interesting once M.2 SSDs launch at Computex 2014.
