Kevin Levine has left 2K games and plans to create something new with his own studio, the Irrational Games. This comes as a rather big surprise and it is definitely not something we expected.
Irrational Games was founded around 17 years ago, and after the release of Bioshock Infinite, Levine announced that he wants to "winding down Irrational Games as we know" in order to create a new "smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavor" at the Take-Two.
Unfortunately we still do not know know much about his new game other than it will be a "narrative-driven game for the core gamer that are highly replayable".
Levine also added that in the future of company, he wants to make more direct contact between developer and gamer and only digital content will be delivered.
In Levine mind this decision will help to make a different kind of games than what he has done with the Irrational Games.
We wish all the lucks to Levine, who managed to stun us with the Bioshock saga way from the 2007.
