Lian-Li has announced its newest brushed aluminum mid-tower PC case, the PC-A51. The new PC-A51 will feature a unique reverse airflow design which also moves some components inside the case.
When it comes to insides, you can notice the results of the reversed airflow design which puts the PSU in the front part of the chassis, since the 120mm in the back pulls the air in while the 140mm fan mounted in the front and above the PSU is an exhaust fan. Additionally, you can place another 120/140mm fan on the floor of the case.
The new PC-A51 also comes with a rather different HDD/SSD mounting systems which allows DIY builders to place either 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch in the five individually removable HDD bays and in case you do not actually need 3.5-inch mounting places, all five bays can be removed and 2.5-inch drives can be mounted directly on the tray.
Despite its compact dimensions, the PC-A51 mid-tower PC case offers enough space for up to 175mm high CPU coolers, up to 160mm long PSUs and up to 400mm long graphics cards.
The PC-A51 will be available in four different versions and two color choices so we will be looking at PC-A51A silver and PC-A51B black, which will retail at US $149, as well as the PC-A51WX black case with a window, retailing at US $189 and the PC-A51WRX with red and black color scheme and window, which will retail at US $199.
Most of the models should be available by the end of this month while the PC-A51WRX is expected by the end of April.
