According to Sony's figures, it managed to outsell Xbox One in the USA by nearly two-to-one, and all while the stock has been severely constrained, according to the company. Various other reports are showing that Sony is also selling twice as much games as well.


While Microsoft can brag that its Xbox One is selling 2.29 times faster than Xbox 360 did, it was apparently still not enough to outsell Sony's new Playstation 4. Earlier this year, it was already clear that Sony has won this round and most attribute it to the fact that Playstation 4 is US $100 cheaper than Xbox One.

Unfortunately, NPD did not release any numbers and Microsoft is still not saying how many Xbox One consoles were actually sold, it is already clear that Sony is doing a hell of job with Playstation 4.
