To show some love for those Bitcoin miners, Biostar has launched two new motherboards aimed mostly for Bitcoin miners, the Hi-Fi H81 S2 and the H61B. Based on Intel's H81 chipset with socket 1150 and Intel's H61 socket 1155 chipset, the two new motherboard extend support for Intel's second, third and fourth generation Core i7, i5 and Core i3 CPUs.
Featuring enough PCI-Express slots in order to house as many dedicated GPUs as possible, since those are currently the best way to mine for Bitcoins, both motherboards feature single PCI-Express 3.0 port as well as five PCI-Express x1 slots. The rest of the specifications are quite standard for those chipset except for the Hi-Fi part on the H81 S2 which includes Hi-Fi Power, Hi-Fi AMP, Hi-Fi Ground, Hi-Fi 110dB+, Hi-Fi Cap, Hi-Fi Resistor features as well as a built-in headphone amplifier which gives it a better audio compared to standard motherboard.
Both Bitcoin mining motherboards from Biostar also feature HDMI and standard DVI outputs as well a plethora of other ports and slots.
Unfortunately, Biostar did not reveal any details regarding the actual availability date or the price.
