Smallest Alienware desktop gets an update
Giving a bit more choice to its smallest and compact gaming desktop, the X51, Alienware now offers AMD's R9 270X graphics card as an option.
Although it is currently only available with the US $999 X51 model that comes with Core i7-4770 CPU, 8GB or RAM, 1TB HDD and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS OS, we are quite sure that we will see it as an option on other X51 SKUs quite soon as well.
AMD's R9 270X is US $100 more expensive than the originally available Geforce GTX 760 1.5GB choice but it is still US $100 cheaper than the Geforce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) graphics card.
