Gigabyte also announced its own version of the Radeon R9 270 graphics card, the Gigabyte GV-R9270OC-2GD Windforce OC graphics card. The new Gigabyte R9 270 Windforce OC graphics cards definitely draws a lot of attention with its dual-fan cooler and a decent factory overclock.
Featuring a decent factory overclock that puts the GPU at 950MHz base and 975MHz boost clock as well as Gigabyte's own Windforce 2X cooler with dual 100mm fans, all paired up with black Ultra Durable VGA+ PCB, the Gigabyte R9 270 definitely is an impressive graphics card.
The 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface ended up at reference 5.6GHz. In case you missed it earlier, the AMD Radeon R9 270 is based on a 28nm Curacao GPU with 1280 stream processors, 80 TMUs and 32 ROPs.
Gigabyte unfortunately did not reveal any details regarding the price or the actual availability date but according to our favorite price search engine the R9 270 WindForce 2X OC is already listed at around €165, depending on the retailer/e-tailer and the region.
