Microsoft is going to create a unique ecosystem for their devices, from PCs over Windows phones to Xbox One.

With the new Windows 8, Microsoft will try to create a unique ecosystem, similar to what Apple has been doing with their own devices. While Microsoft was so far focused on bringing PCs and smartphones together it appears that Xbox One will also be a part of it. Recent Dell listing claims that all of our favorite apps for Windows will work and be synced with the Xbox One, or tablet with Windows 8.

Considering that the Xbox One is basically based on Windows 8 engine and will have certain implementations of the Windows 8 like OS, this makes perfect sense for Microsoft and should definitely boost the popularity of the Windows Store.
