EVGA has expanded its line of graphics cards by adding a new series that will feature a secondary BIOS, the Double-BIOS series.
The new Double-BIOS series is aimed at those that want to experiment with custom BIOS solution without the risk of damaging the graphics card. It will feature a simple switch for easy BIOS recovery. According to EVGA, the secondary BIOS might unlock some additional overclocking potential and/or improved fan-speed control on selected graphics cards.
Currently there is a wide list of graphics cards from the Geforce GTX 780, 770 as well as GTX 760 series that feature either 2 or 3 BIOS', so there is definitely plenty to choose from.
While there has been some graphics cards with dual-BIOS option on the market, the complete line of graphics cards solely based on that feature is definitely a first.
In any case, it sounds like a neat feature to have in case you want play around to find the best possible BIOS for maximum overclock and stability.
