G.Skill's TridentX kit hits 4400MHz

TridentX DDR3-3000 4GB kit

Known for quite impressive memory products, G.Skill has announced that its G.Skill TridentX once again managed to break the memory frequency record as it was overclocked all the way up to an impressive 4400MHz.

The G.Skill TridentX DDR3-3000 C12 4GB stick paired up with Intel's Core i7-4770K CPU, Asus Maximus VI Impact motherboard and a lot of LN2 was quite enough for professional overclocker, James "YoungPro" Trevaskis from TeamAU, to reach 4400MHz memory frequency speed.

This does not come as a surprise considering that we are talking about the G.Skill TridentX DDR3-3000 4GB stick which is part of TridentX F3-3000C12 series and based on Hynix's FMR single-sided memory chips which are known in the overclocking community as one of the best chips around.
