Kingston Europe has announced the new Na'Vi-branded product series that come as a result of collaboration with professional eSports club gamer Natus Vincere. Aimed at gamers and enthusiasts, the Na'Vi Edition of products will start with HyperX 3K SSD Na'Vi Edition SSD and HyperX Genesis Na'Vi Edition DDR3 memory kits.
Primarily aimed at gamers and enthusiasts, the Na'Vi Edition product series is made for those that require high performance and reliability as well as all Na'Vi and eSports fans. To include already launched HyperX 3K SSD in capacities on 120 and 240GB, painted in black/yellow color scheme as well as Kingston's HyperX Genesis memory kits that will be available in DDR3-1600 8GB and 16GB kits.
In case you missed it back when it was announced, the HyperX 3K SSD is based on Sandforce SF-2281 controller and paired up with synchronous NAND flash chips that are enough for 3000 program-erase cycles, thus the 3K in the model name. Both the 120 and 240GB models that will be a part of Na'Vi Edition offer sequential read and write speeds of up to 555MB/s and 510MB/s while random 4K read/write performance ranges from 20k/60k IOPS for the 120GB up to 40k/57k IOPS for the 240GB one.
The HyperX Genesis Na'Vi Edition memory kits, as noted, will be available as 8GB (2x4GB) and 16GB (2x8GB) memory kits and work at 1600MHz with CL9 latencies at 1.5V.
