As we already suspected it would, Point of View has now officially announced its own factory-overclocked versions of the GTX 780 series graphics cards, the GTX 780 Ammo and the GTX 780 Mag Edition graphics cards.
Backed by a veteran in factory-overclocking of graphics cards that was behind some of factory-overclocked graphics cards at EVGA and Gainward, Point of View has introduced its new Trooper series with first two OC graphics cards, the GTX 780 Ammo and the GTX Mag Editions.
For starters, Point of View decided to go with only two graphics cards but judging from the graphics on the box we suspect that we will see yet another that will feature even higher factory-overclock. Specs wise, the GTX 780 Ammo works at 902MHz base and 941MHz boost clocks while the Mag Edition works at 941MHz for the base and 980MHz for the boost clock. Both cards are equipped with reference GTX Titan blower fan but we are sure that POV has an ace or two hidden up its sleeve.
In case you missed it earlier, the GTX 780 is based on the GK110 GPU, features 2304 CUDA cores and works at 876/900 base and Boost GPU clocks. It comes equipped with 3GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6009MHz and paired up with a 384-bit memory interface.
