According to various reports around the net, Amazon is apparently working on a new range of products including a smartphone with a 3D screen.
In addition to a 3D smartphone, Wall Street Journal reports that Amazon also has another smartphone as well as a some sort of audio streaming device. The report notes that Amazon's 3D smartphone might use retina-tracking technology which means that it can display 3D from any angle and that picture should "float" above the screen and bring UI navigation via eye movement.
Rumors about Amazon smartphone have been floating around for quite some time and while Microsoft is rumored to acquire Barnes and Noble, Amazon might be facing some tough competition and it certainly needs to explore other markets as well.
Wall Street Journal also claims that smartphone and audio streaming device are just a portion of Amazon's "hardware" push, and that we might see even more devices in a near future.
