28nm GK106 GPU with 768 CUDA cores When compared to the previously announced mobile chips, the new GTX 760M features 768 CUDA cores and should pack quite a punch and even drive some of those latest games at medium settings. As noted earlier, the GTX 760M mobile GPU is based on a 28nm GK106 chip paired up with up to 2GB of GDDR5 memory and a 128-bit memory interface for a total of 64.1GB/s of memory bandwidth.
Judging by the GPU-Z screenshot leaked at Chiphell forums and assuming that it read all the info correctly, the chip works at 628MHz base and 719MHz boost GPU clocks while that 2GB of GDDR5 memory is clocked at 1002MHz (4008MHz effective).
The new GTX 760M fills the gap between earlier announced GT 750M, GT 745M and the GT 740M GK107-based entry-level mobile GPUs and the GTX 780M and GTX 770M aimed at high-end desktop replacement notebooks.
