AMD has refreshed its FX-Series lineup with two new CPUs, the quad-core FX-4350 and the six-core FX-6350. Since they are a part of AMD's FX-Series, both chips are based on Vishera-core design based on the Piledriver architecture and feature up to 16MB of total cache, AVX and FMA3 instructions and fit into AM3+ socket.
The 125W TDP AMD FX-6350 is a six-core part that works at 3.9GHz and up to 4.2GHz in Turbo. It feature 8MB of L3 cache and is, pretty much, the boosted version of the previously available 95W TDP FX-6300 part. The FX-4350 is quite similar since it is meant to replace the FX-4300. The FX-4350 is a quad-core part that works at 3.8GHz base and 4.0GHz Turbo frequency and has a total of 8MB of L3 cache. It also has a 125W TDP.
The official price for the FX-6350 is US $132 while the FX-4350 is announced at US $122. These prices are pretty much the same as the prices of the previously available FX-6300 and the FX-4300.
