Roger "splmann" Tanner with new Z77 Corsair memory overclocking world record

During the last week-end Roger (splmann) Tanner was overclocking an ASUS Maximus V Gene with Corsair Dominator GTX 6 modules and a Core i7-3770K CPU. The results: a new memory world record!

If you want to reach memory frequencies above 3'000 MHz you need to be lucky to get a chip that has a good IMC (integrated memory controller). After setting the right memory divider Roger "splmann" Tanner was increasing the BCLK to an amazing 113.03 MHz which meant a memory clock of 1'657.8 MHz (3.315.6 MHz). With this score he was able to break the former world record held by Hicookie, which was at 1'639.7 MHz (effective 3'279.4 MHz).
