According to another rumor which has its roots in the Futuremark database again, AMD is busy working on a cut-down version of AMD's Ryzen 2000 series. Thankfully, this isn't the only information that we have, since both APUs has been spotted in the ASUS BIOS files.

The Athlon 200GE APU has been spotted in the Futuremark database showing us a few more details about the upcoming chip. The engineering sample spotted on the database features two cores with four threads, clocking at 3.2GHz base clock. Furthermore the chip has 2MB of L2 cache and 4MB of L3 cache. The Athlon 200GE PRO is essentially the same chip, with the difference that in the PRO variant falls under AMD commercial brand for customer support.

At the moment there isn't any information on the Boost Clock frequency on both chips. According to AnandTech, Athlon processors might not feature any turbo. The Athlon branding suggests that AMD does not want this product to be associated with Ryzen on the desktop market, due to its low specifications. On the GPU side we find a Vega chip. This APU could be a desktop version of the Ryzen 3 2200U mobile CPU. Like the Athlon 200GE, the Ryzen 3 2200U mobile chip comes with two cores and four threads.

Judging by the informations that we have here, AMD Athlon 200GE will be released during Computex or launched without any PR push.
