TechPowerUp has come across a few interesting slides on the Spanish website Informatica Cero. One of them actually shows a CPU roadmap for AMD's next generation of Zen processors. Pinnacle Ridge, which is the successor's code name, is supposed to be manufactured using 12nm technology instead of the current 14nm node.

The roadmap shows that AMD might release Ryzen 2000 processors during next months and they could be based on a new architecture, which goes by the codename "Matisse". According to the slides, Ryzen 2000 will keep the same 8-cores / 16-threads design like the current Zen processors. The slides confirm that all the current 300-series motherboards with socket AM4 will be compatible with the upcoming Zen 2 processors.

The upcoming lineup will include no more than four SKUs initially. These include the flagship Ryzen 7 2700X, followed by the Ryzen 7 2700, the Ryzen 5 2600X, and the Ryzen 5 2600. Both Ryzen 7-series SKUs sport 8-core/16-thread chips, while both Ryzen 5-series SKUs come with 6-core/12-thread design. All the CPUs will be bundled with a Wraith cooler. While the Ryzen 7 2700X will come with the more powerful Wraith Prism due to its TDP of 105W, the other models will come with Wraith Spire and Wraith Stealth coolers.

According to the slides the Ryzen 7 2700X and 2700 will cost $370 and $312 respectively, while the Ryzen 5 2600X will hit $258 and the Ryzen 5 2600 will be available for $208. On following you can find all the slides.
