Yes you have read that right, Iiyama have silently released one of the best monitors in the high pixel density races. With the XB2779QQS, Iiyama has added a 27-inch panel with 5120 x 2880 resolution to its lineup. This display is listed at 799 Euro in Europe.


As we've already mentioned the XB2779QQS monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel offering 5120 x 2880 pixel resolution. On the connector side of things we find three HDMI ports and two DisplayPort connectors. The Iiyama XB2779QQS comes with an IPS panel with 1200:1 contrast ratio and 440 cd/m2 brightness.

On top of the convincing specs there is a very well-built frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it comes with Vesa 100x100 support. In addition Iiyama, has added an eye-care technology that protects viewers' vision health. Unfortunately there is no information on what it actually does.
