A few weeks ago we have reported first information regarding the upcoming Sapphire RX Vega Nitro+ series of graphics cards. During the CES, the company has shown a custom variant of AMD's RX Vega graphics cards. Compared to the reference graphics card, this Nitro+ series offer better cooling and acoustic performance.
According to the pictures, the card comes with a triple fan cooler. The pictures shared by Techpowerup revealed Sapphire's new NITRO+ card feature a pretty massive cooler. It sports a dual aluminum fin stack with heatpipes that have been combined with three large fans. The entire cooler has been painted in black with white accents. Furthermore it shows several LEDs on both fans and backplate. As shown by Techpowerup, the cooler comes with 2.5 slot design and the PCB is a bit taller than usual.
On the PCB there are 3x 8-pin power connectors which is pretty impressive for a gaming graphics card. Due to the custom cooler, the overall dimensions of the card should be a bit bigger than the reference version. According to the latest rumors, Sapphire is shipping this card with a hefty 12% base clock increase over AMD's reference models.
Regarding connectors, the upcoming Sapphire Radeon RX Vega Nitro+ is supposed to feature two HDMI and two DisplayPort outlets.
