Phanteks during the CES 2018 has shown a big list of upcoming products. With the Revolt X and Revolt Pro, the company has shown three high-end power supplies with fully modular design. While the Revolt X comes with 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, the two Revolt Pro offer 80 Plus Gold efficiency.
The Revolt X series lineup features at the moment only one 1200W model. With the PH-P1200PS, Phanteks unveils a fully modular PSU with cabling to power two individual systems. In the delivery you will get two 24-pin ATX cables, three 8-pin EPS and eight 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors. Furthermore you will find eight SATA power and three Molex. The power supply turns on when one of the two 24-pin connector shorts the power cable, and will go off when neither of the two is drawing power.
Under the hood there is active PFC protection as well as all the usual protections that you can find on high-end models. While the Revolt X is designed to power two systems with one PSU, the Revolt Pro PSUs are aiming to power only one system. In this way you can get more power from two power supplies. Due to the size of both units (850W and 1000W) it's rather hard to understand when you might need so many watts and amps.
Both Revolt Pro PSUs come with one 24-pin ATX cable, two 4+4-pin EPS and eight 6+2-pin PCIe. In addition there are sixteen SATA power connectors and three Molex. Revolt X and Revolt Pro are patented by Phanteks and powered by Seasonic. In other words most of the electrical components are from the famous PSU maker. The Revolt X 1200W is expected to be priced at $259.99, while the Revolt Pro 850W and 1000W variants will cost $129.99 and $159.99 respectively.
