MSI has expanded its monitor lineup with three more models in two different sizes. All of the upcoming monitors feature an 1800R curvature on a VA LED panel, 144Hz refresh rate and AMD Freesync technology. Furthermore they all cover 110% of the sRGB color gamut.
Like we mentioned above the new lineup includes three models: the MAG24C, the MAG27C and the MAG27CQ. The MAG24C features a 23-inch 1920 x 1080 display while the MAG27C sports the same resolution but on a bigger panel. Both the MAG24C and MAG27C come with one HDMI 1.4 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 interface and a DVI port. The MAG27CQ is the flagship model and sports a 27-inch panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The VA panel offers 3000:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. MSI is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and optimized for usage in combination with MSI Gaming graphics card. In addition they all cover 110 percent of the Adobe sRGB color spectrum and a few other color standards. According to MSI, the 1800R curvature "is the most comfortable for your eyes and suitable for any kind of application, including gaming, office, or multimedia entertainment."
The panel is being kept in position by a solid stand, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. At the moment there are no additional details about the global launch.
