A few days ago we received a big package from ViewSonic and inside there was the XG2730 gaming monitor. The XG2730 sports a 27-inch panel that supports 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution at an astonishing refresh rate of 144 Hz, which makes this particular display relevant for playing fast first person shooters.
As we already mentioned the XG2730 monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel and 2560 x 1440 Pixel resolution with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. ViewSonic is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports AMD FreeSync. The contrast ratio is 3000:1, 350 cd/m2 brightness and the viewing angles are 170°/160°.
A quick look at the connectors reveals one HDMI 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2a connector. On top of that there is a very well-built frame and the stand allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. According to Geizhals, the ViewSonic XG2730 costs about 600 Euro. Meanwhile we’ve taken detailed pictures and a few of them can be found below, while the full album is in our gallery.
