NVIDIA has finally added the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to its GTX 10 series of gaming GPUs. You can pre-order the Founder’s Edition GeForce GTX 1070 Ti directly from NVIDIA priced at $449 (the original cost of the GTX 1070). The estimated ship date for NVIDIA's pre-orders is slated for the first days of November.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti features the same GP104 Pascal GPU that you can find on the predecessor the GTX 1070. While the previous iteration featured 15 SMs (1'920 CUDA cores), the Ti enables more SM units and reach a total of 2'432 CUDA cores. The frequency remain the same as the regular GTX 1070, with a base clock of 1'607MHz and a boost frequency of 1'683MHz. According to NVIDIA, the new GTX 1070 Ti should offer plenty of overclocking headroom.
The remaining specifications remain mostly unchanged, the GPU comes with 8GB of GDDR5 memory running at a speed of 8Gbps across at 256-bit bus. In addition the card supports VRWorks, 2-way SLI and display resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60Hz. The display outputs are three DisplayPort 1.4, one DVI and one HDMI 2.0, like the previous GTX 1070.
Like we mentioned above, the NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti Founders Edition is available in pre-order on the official NVIDIA website. Meanwhile there is already a wide range of partner cards around from ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI and few others.
