The new GeForce Game Ready 388.00 WHQL drivers offer optimisations for two of the biggest games released this week, Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Origins. Apart from game support some bugs have been addressed as well.
Destiny 2 is finally available and if you want achieve the best performance you should install the latest NVIDIA drivers. NVIDIA has also published a "Destiny 2 Graphics and Performance Guide" to show how to get the best compromise on your gaming PC.
Furthermore NVIDIA is running a Destiny 2 promotion providing the game for free with a GeForce GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti, a pre-built gaming PC or laptop with NVIDIA GPUs inside. Although Assassin's Creed Origins isn't available yet, this drivers are compatible and optimised for this game as well. Apart from that an issue with the GeForce GTX 1080 laptop (with G-Sync) has been addressed and now stuttering is gone.
