NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti specifications leaked

According to the latest information, NVIDIA is working on a GTX 1070 Ti in order to respond to AMD's RX Vega 56. At the moment there isn't a lot of detailed information available on this topic but nevertheless there are finally the specifications leaking through. Current rumors suggest that the GTX 1070 Ti will perform almost on par with the GTX 1080.


The upcoming NVIDIA graphics card is supposed to be as quick as the Vega 56 from AMD. On top of that these graphics cards should be equipped with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM. In other words, it will not make use of faster GDDR5X memory, however if the memory would run at 9Gbps the 1070 Ti could really end up being almost as quick as a GTX 1080.

Earlier this year NVIDIA released an updated versions of their GTX 1060 (6GB) and 1080 GPUs, increasing the cards memory clock speeds and thus improving the GPUs overall performance. According to latest rumors, the GTX 1070 Ti will be based on GP104 Pascal chip with 2432 CUDA cores, along with 152 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The TDP of the 1070 Ti should be the same 180W like with the GTX 1080, while the Clock/Boost frequency is set to 1607MHz/1683MHz.

At the moment there isn't any additional information on this subject but we'll certainly keep an eye on future developments.
