EVGA already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn’t stop them from launching yet another model. A few days ago, EVGA has introduced their new GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hydro Copper graphics card which comes with a liquid cooling block.
With the water block covering the entire graphics card it simultaneously cools the GPU, the VRAM as well as the VRMs. The base of the block is made from copper, while there is a POM Acetal top. The EVGA GTX 1080 TI SC2 Hydro Copper packs a significant factory overclock. While the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the factory-overclocked EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hydro Copper clocks with 1556MHz/1670MHz Core/Boost. Due to the capable cooler and the factory overclock, the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hydro Copper should provide excellent gaming performance.
The card requires one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCIe power connector from your power supply. Regarding connectors we find three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0b port and one dual-link DVI connector. Furthermore EVGA has added nine additional sensors which allow for monitoring temperature monitoring different areas of the card.
Right now the new EVGA GTX 1080 TI SC2 Hydro Copper is available on Geizhals for 772 Euro.
