Gigabyte has introduced their new GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme Edition and Aorus Waterforce XE graphics cards and both cards come with a liquid cooling block on the GPU. Including these two new graphics cards, Gigabyte has now eight different GTX 1080 Ti pixel accelerators in its portfolio.


The Waterforce Xtreme Edition from Gigabyte has been equipped with an all-in-one cooler and usually there is a reference PCB. While the standard blower takes care of the VRM and memory, the all-in-one cools the GPU chip itself. While the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme Edition might be clocked at 1569MHz/1684MHz Core/Boost like the Corsair GTX 1080 Ti Hydro GFX. Due to the good cooler and the alleged factory overclock, the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce Xtreme Edition should provide excellent gaming performance.

Furthermore Gigabyte also unveiled the Aorus Waterforce XE graphics card. This pixel accelerator comes with a water block covering the entire graphics card it simultaneously cools the GPU, the VRAM as well as the VRMs. The Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Waterforce XE packs a significant factory overclock. While the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the factory-overclocked Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Waterforce XE runs 1632MHz/1746MHz Core/Boost, which is going to be enough for any game these days at UHD/4K.

As of today there is no precise date available when these cards will hit the shelves at your local retailer but they should become available during next weeks. So far there is also no information on the pricing.
